story from: 24th January 2011
I would like to bring your attention to the new format of our popular Issues books – our six latest titles, released in January 2011, will be the first to include our NEW INTEGRATED ASSIGNMENTS SECTION!
Until recently, the Exploring the Issues study guides which accompanied each Issues title were available to purchase as a separate product, at additional cost. We are hoping that by integrating these useful guides into the Issues books we will not only save our customers money, but provide an easily-accessible classroom or revision aid for the students and teachers who use our books.
The Assignments section will contain between 12 and 15 exciting and creative activities to compliment the information in the book, including written, oral, multimedia, research and statistical tasks. The questions encourage students to objectively consider the issues surrounding each topic and carry out further independent research.
As of January 2011, an Exploring the Issues study guide for each backlisted title ordered will be sent out FREE (this offer applies to orders for any Issues titles up to and including volume 199). However, from this term onwards, subscribers will no longer receive the guides as a part of their subscription. Instead, they will be able to make use of the new integrated Assignments sections.
It is our aim to constantly develop and improve our products and we therefore welcome any feedback from our customers, from positive comments to suggestions for further improvement. Please feel free to contact us and let us know what you think of our new assignments section!
