Changes at Independence
Welcome Back
Independence is glad to welcome back on board our Issues series editor, Lisa Firth, from a four-month sabbatical. We look forward to many more years producing high-quality educational titles together.

Price Changes
This month we must announce a small price increase to the Issues series. From April 2008, the price of individual titles will be £7.45 (an increase of 50p per book). The cost of an Issues subscription invoiced annually (including annual index) will rise by £10.50 to £154.05. In September 2008, we will also be producing an extended version of the ever-popular Issues annual index at a cost of £6.45. After five years offering our customers a fixed price regardless of inflation, we feel the increase is very reasonable and the books still offer excellent value for money.
Special Offer
This term, we are pleased to introduce a new special offer available for a limited time only: a full set of all Issues titles currently in print, including the 2007 Annual Index, can now be purchased at a special price of only £395. That is a total of 65 titles - an excellent and cost-effective way of ensuring your library is fully stocked with comprehensive information on a range of contemporary social issues. If you are interested, please contact us on 01223 550801 for more details.
